I was born and raised in West Vancouver and Mayne Island.
At 18 I went to work for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans on a Search and Rescue vessel.
Since 1986 an ongoing love of the sea has inspired me to dive. | In 1990 I became a PADI instructor and in 2003 I got my 60 ton Master Captain Certificate.
I've dived around Howe Sound, the Sunshine Coast, and the Southern Gulf Islands, as well as Malaysia and Belize, where I developed a deep respect for, and desire to protect, the ocean environment.
I started a dive charter business in 1992 - both to have fun (of course!) and to increase divers' awareness about the vulnerability of the underwater life.
In 1998, Annie and I bought God's Pocket Resort, which existed at the time as a diving/sport fishing resort. We immediately cut out the fishing charters to concentrate on the diving side of the business. Though this created a financial challenge for us, I believe all underwater life needs careful conservation wherever (or whenever) possible.
Annie and I are dedicated to making your stay at God's Pocket Resort as comfortable and delightful a diving adventure as possible.
God's Pocket attracts fabulous people that share the same passion I have for the life that these waters support. Divers come here to see and experience beautiful things in their natural settings, from whales and dolphins to tiny sculpins and tube worms. Here we live with nature rather than around nature. It's a fantastic life and I love sharing it with Annie, the kids, and all our guests.

I was born in Vancouver B.C. and raised with the love of the wilderness and adventure.
I have been running God's Pocket Resort with my husband Bill since 1998 and was Certified Open Water in January 2000.
I adore this life and work!
| God's Pocket rewards me in more ways than I could have ever imagined and I am involved in every aspect of God's Pocket Resort - from bookkeeping and banging nails - to running the boat.
I can't always participate in every charter as I also maintain our family home in Vancouver. You may meet my two wonderful kids whom I cherish. My son Crey is 20 and my daughter Cheyanne is 19 in June this year. They always inspire me to challenge myself and to live life to the fullest.
