Accomodations

God’s Pocket is nestled in a wonderfully protected west facing bay with a constantly changing view.   Over the years, Annie and Bill have picked away at modifications to provide you with very simple but comfortable accommodations for all the weather that the North Island can dish out.  The results are two large structures sitting on stilts over the water.  Each structure has 4 side by side rooms.  Each room has bedding for two as well as a 3 piece bathroom.  Outside each room is a covered boardwalk with two Adarondak Chairs to lounge in all weather.

We have two separate cabins which are available for couples.  Each cabin has a Queen bed and 3 piece bath.

Our Resort also has a small common area for when weather is a little less desirable.  It is very popular when it comes time for sharing photos or flipping through one of the many history or Marine ID books we have on display.

Dining & Food

Three meals a day are provided along with loads of snacks and hot and cold beverages. All meals are creative and delicious as well as plentiful.  They are served family style with lots of love.

Given our limited selection in town, along with our ‘barely adequate’ kitchen facility, we ask of those with special dietary needs to:

a.    Let us know in advance on the questionnaire

b.    For those who are Gluten Free or Lactose intolerant /No Dairy, please bring with you a substitute for dairy and Gluten for your snacks and bread (if desired)

c.     *Our kitchen is not set up to accommodate anyone with Celiac disease*

There is also a ‘boat box’ that goes on every dive to provide you with hot and cold drinks and snacks in between dives.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not provide sodas, alcohol or ‘junk’ food. These can be purchased in Port Hardy and you are welcome to bring your own.
